I had the opportunity to sponsor a child from Kenya and meet her and her mother. It was an amazing experience and one that can never be duplicated. I want to encourage you and your church to consider how you can partner with Compassion.

There are several ways for you to connect Compassion with your church:

1.  Compassion Sunday. Have a Sunday where you challenge the people in your church to change the life a child who will change the life of a community.  Compassion Sunday is an annual event for churches across the U.S. It’s an opportunity for members of your church family to personally sponsor children who live in extreme poverty, and help them find new life in Jesus. More than 2,000 churches will be participating this year, and we anticipate that 15,000 children will be sponsored as a result.

For just $20 a month you can partner with us to rescue babies and mothers that are in desperate need.

3. Develop a Future Leader.  Rescued From Excruciating Poverty.  Overwhelming poverty was a way of life for Maureen and her family. The time between meals for Maureen and her family wasn’t just hours, but days. She and her sister would root in the garbage for scraps of food. But thanks to the Leadership Development Program, her future is now bright.
I had the chance to Meet Maureen and see how God is using her today to change the lives of many people.  I am excited to see where God uses her.  Imagine what her life would be like if she would have not had the opportunity to go to school and hear the truth about Jesus.

4.  Meet Critical Needs.  Your church can partner with Compassion and meet Critical needs in many ways.  Some ways are Medical and Health, Education and Disaster Relief.  The great thing about meeting these critical needs is that they will be met knowing that Jesus will be proclaimed as those needs are being met.  (Learn More)
